Usher in 2020 at the Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular
Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular is one of the most popular ways to ring in the New Year in the area — and for good reason. The event features an amazing fireworks show, choreographed to music, that clocks in at an impressive 15 minutes long and involves more than 2,000 pounds of fireworks. Before the show — which takes place at midnight — guests can enjoy live entertainment starting at 9 p.m. The event is free, but ice skating at the Inner Harbor Ice Rink will be open until 12:30 a.m. for an extra fee.
The fireworks are also visible along the Inner Harbor promenade and nearby neighborhoods, such as Federal Hill, Locust Point, Canton, Harbor East, and Fells Point. Public transportation will be extended for an extra hour after the display ends.
