The Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K Returns March 15
Whether you’d rather celebrate St. Paddy’s Day from the sidewalk or hit the pavement in the name of the holiday, there’s an option for you this year at the Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K!
From 1-3 p.m. on March 15, the Under Armour KELLY St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock 5K will bring runners of all ages and skill levels out for an afternoon of fun. For the $50 cost of registration, participants can follow the race through its USATF-certified course, which will be closed to bikers, skaters, and baby strollers. Water will be provided throughout the course, as well as at the finish line, to ensure you stay hydrated along the way.
Cash awards will granted top three male and female finishers in the open division, and to the first man and woman to finish in the masters division (ages 40+). But the fun doesn’t stop there: participants will also receive an Under Armour technical t-shirt, a medal, and race photography. For runners ages 21 and over, there’s also an afterparty waiting at the finish line, at Power Plant Live!
If a 5K isn’t your style, the city’s still got something for you: beginning at 2 p.m. at the Washington Monument, the 2020 Baltimore St. Patrick Parade is all the holiday entertainment you’ll need. And, with discounted parking available in advance through SpotHero, it’s a great option to celebrate without breaking your budget.
