Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts: Where Residents of Arbors at Arundel Preserve Can Soak Up the Limelight

The Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts was originally conceptualized as an arts school for children, but over the years it has grown into a full-fledged performing arts organization, housing an educational conservatory, producing professional performances (aimed at children), and providing outreach programs to students in need throughout the region.

To do all of this, CCTA relies on the work of nearly 80 teachers, directors, writers, actors, musicians, and technicians to offer its unique mix of education, entertainment, and community outreach. Classes are available for kids as young as 3 years old and give training in acting, singing, dancing, and choreography; Broadway-oriented training is very popular among students here. You can also choose a single-day workshop, summer camp experience, or after-school program for your child.

There are easily two dozen different programs for kids and teens to choose from, so check out the website for a full listing of classes and performances before heading over from Arbors at Arundel Preserve.
