Elkridge’s New Ledo Pizza Carries on a 60-Year Tradition of Pizza-Making
Ledo Pizza isn’t your average pizzeria, which is probably why it’s been in business for more than 60 years. Just like the original location, which opened in 1955, the offshoot in Elkridge promises freshly rolled dough, top-notch cheese, and quality tomatoes on every pie. The Elkridge branch debuted two months ago to carry on the time-tested Ledo Pizza tradition.
Come into the shop to enjoy a pie there or take one back home with you. Ledo offers a full slate of classic pies, from plain cheese to supreme, as well as contemporary craft pizzas. If you’re a fan of seafood, order the Coastal Calamari, loaded with smoked provolone cheese, fried calamari, cherry peppers, baby arugula, and a tart lemon aioli. For those who prefer veggies, the Veg-In boasts spinach, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, jalapenos, and fresh basil on a simple layer of sauce, no cheese—and it’s only about 80 calories per slice, so feel free to have seconds (and thirds).
