Create Your Own Custom French Fry Creation at The Local Fry
The Local Fry just opened its new location in Hampden at the mixed-use Rotunda development on 40th Street, and the eatery is offering a similar menu to the Federal Hill location. The Local Fry is a French fry bar specializing in fries with a variety of toppings, as well as banh mi sandwiches, rice bowls, and wings. Owned by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Elizabeth Irish, the menu reflects the couple’s cultural heritage and the places that they have traveled together, with some toppings inspired by Korean, Irish, Greek, and French cuisine. Order the popular Hawaiian Fries topped with barbecue Pork, barbecue sauce, kewpie mayo, pineapple salsa, bacon, and scallions.
The 1,200-square-foot space offers a variety of seating options, as well as carry-out for those on the go. The storefront also features large oversized windows perfect for people watching as you chow down on your French fry creation.
Visit The Local Fry Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
