Lights on the Bay: A Holiday Tradition Returns Near Arbors at Arundel Preserve
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a drive through Lights on the Bay! The team is hard at work wrapping the trees and creating new displays for this year, and all you have to do is load up your car and enjoy. Lights on the Bay kicks off Friday, November 20, and runs through January 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly. The stage is set at Sandy Point State Park with not only dazzling light displays, but picturesque views of the Chesapeake Bay.
It’s just $20 per car, so make yourself a mug of hot chocolate, cue up your favorite holiday playlist, and get in the mood to be merry. Lights on the Bay makes a great option for an early trip to get you thinking about your gift list, or as a festive way to cap off a big holiday meal (the event is even open on major holidays). 3D glasses are also available for purchase at the gate to turn your drive into an exciting, interactive experience. Don’t forget to check this yearly tradition off your list!
