Give Back to a Good Cause at Mission 50: Robert Kennedy III’s Birthday Century Bike Ride on May 22nd
Robert Kennedy III—also known as RK3—is a renowned speaker and philanthropist on a mission to empower everyone from business leaders to minority teenagers. So it’s fitting that, in honor of his 50th birthday, he’d host a fundraising event to support both! Mission 50: Robert Kennedy III’s Birthday Century Bike Ride is slated for Sunday, May 22nd with route segments all around Baltimore.
It’s a cumulative 100-mile race that allows riders of all abilities to pass the baton after a segment of their chosen length. Proceeds will benefit the Crichlow-Kennedy Foundation, which supports minority youth by creating scholarship opportunities, helping to fund their business startups, and providing them opportunities in the field of communications. Choose from the 20-, 35-, 65-, or 100-mile route options and await further instruction as the ride day nears. You’ll be assigned a route around Anne Arundel County, some slicing right through downtown Annapolis while others showcase the Severn River or meander by the BWI/Marshall Airport. Of course, there are plenty of rest stops along the way, and the goal is to finish your segment, not to beat out opponents. So enjoy the day and contribute to a good cause on May 22nd!
